Sarah Jessica Parker stuns as she joins 1917 writer-director Sam Mendes and cast members at special screening of WWI film in NYC

Sarah Jessica Parker was front and center in New York City Sunday as she attended an advance screening of the upcoming war drama 1917, supporting writer-director Sam Mendes and cast and crew.

The Sex & The City actress, 54, donned a grey button-up sweater over a pair of black leather pants, with her dark blonde locks down and parted, accessorizing with a necklace.

The Nelsonville, Ohio-born beauty, who starred as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex & The City, posed with a group of people who worked on the film, including Mendes, screenwriter Krysty Wilson-Cairns, producer Pippa Harris and actors Dean-Charles Chapman and George MacKay.

It was not immediately clear if her husband Matthew Broderick, 57, was in attendance at the Gotham gathering.

The film features a cast including Chapman, MacKay, Benedict Cumberbatch, Colin Firth, Andrew Scott and Mark Strong, telling the story of a pair of English soldiers (played by Chapman and MacKay) tasked with a crucial mission.

The motion picture looks to be an early award season favorite, having been nominated for three Golden Globes earlier this month: Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director for Mendes, and Best Original Score for Thomas Newman.

Parker was out amid news that she and her husband Broderick will be among a group of entertainment industry professionals honored by The Actors Fund at the group’s April 6, 2020 gala at the New York Marriott Marquis.

The couple are being recognized for their long ties with the theatrical community, as both have made the stage a cornerstone of their feted careers.

Broderick has twice won Tony Awards, for and 1983’s Brighton Beach Memoirs and 1995’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, while Parker has been seen in shows including The Innocents, Annie and Once upon a Mattress. She’s also involved with the New York City Ballet.

Others who will be honored at the Gotham gala, according to Playbill, include Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell, producer Steve Tisch and Richard L. Trumka, the president of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations.

1917 opens in theaters December 25.
