Kaitlyn Bristowe and Justin Tartick adopt new dog Pinot from a rescue organization

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick treat themselves to early Christmas gift as they adopt a dog… saving him from kill shelter

They are already proud owners of a gorgeous Golden Retriever, Ramen.

And on Sunday, Bachelor stars Kaitlyn Bristowe, 34, and Jason Tartick, 31, took to Instagram to celebrate the new addition to their family.

The couple adopted a second dog from Bunny’s Buddies, an organization that rescues animals from ‘slaughterhouses, shelters and dog meat farms in China & South Korea.’

‘MERRY CHRISTMAS TO US!!’ shared Kaitlyn on Instagram. ‘Ramen has a new brother MEET PINOT. Pinot was found in a kill shelter in South Korea and @bunnysbuddies saved him.’

She continued: ‘Now he has a safe home with us. I was so worried how Ramen would react… But let me tell you..

‘You will see through my stories that these pups took to each other RIGHT away. They snuggle, and don’t leave each other’s side. Pinot is a big mushy sweet heart who is some how more cuddly than Ramen.

‘He’s got the SOFTEST coat, and the biggest heart. I know a lot of people will ask how we will do this with traveling so much.

‘But we will make it work. This isn’t about us. This is about giving a sweet innocent pup a new life. We will continue to do what we do, and just do it with 2 instead of 1,’ she concluded.

Jason also shared a similar post,  and revealed that dogs who are placed ‘in these Kill Shelters have only 10 days to be rescued.’

The couple also adopted their first dog, Ramen, from the same organization.

Prior to their relationship, Kaitlyn was engaged to Bachelor contestant Shawn Booth.

The Canadian beauty gave the personal trainer her final rose on season 11 of The Bachelorette.

According to The Blast, while on the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast, Kaitlyn said:  ‘I think I knew for a year that my relationship wouldn’t work, and I think I knew that he just couldn’t give me the kind of love that I needed in my life. And he admitted that.’

The former couple split in November 2018.
